NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and
maintenance of Newton Hurst Lane in Daple Heath are satisfied that it is necessary to close to all vehicular traffic that length
of Newton Hurst Lane outside the entrance to Blithe Brook Cottage for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice because of
the likelihood of danger to the public during water leak repair works being undertaken by South Staffordshire Water.
Access will be available for pedestrians and for vehicles being used in connection with the works (and for emergency services
vehicles or for vehicles requiring access to properties on the length of road which is closed).
An alternative route for traffic is available via Newton Hurst Lane, Newton Lane, Lea Lane, Uttoxeter Road, Smithy Lane and vice
versa.

IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE CLOSURE WILL BE IN PLACE BETWEEN 09:26 HOURS ON
8th October 2025 AND 16:00 HOURS ON 14th October 2025.
The restriction may if necessary be extended for one further period of up to 21 days by the publication of a second Notice.
